We are thrilled to welcome Elyce Jenkins, 9th grade Humanities educator from High Tech High Mesa. She will share the story of the project: Borders and Belonging. Join us to learn more about how she facilitated this 15-week project that immersed 9th graders in the complexities of U.S. immigration, centering human experiences behind current events. Community partners and authentic artifacts of learning engaged students in meaningful dialogue and action.

Project Unpackings are an in-depth exploration of structures used to design for deeper learning. Each session is facilitated by a HTH educator and focuses on one or more of the PBL Essentials. This interactive workshop invites participants to design, discuss, and reflect. Project Unpackings welcome new and experienced educators.
