Project Unpacking workshops are an in-depth exploration of structures used to design for deeper learning. Each session is facilitated by a HTH educator and focuses on one or more of the PBL Essentials. This interactive workshop invites participants to design, discuss, and reflect. Project Unpackings welcome new and experienced educators.
We are thrilled to welcome 11th grade humanities/biology team Chenoa Musillo and Brian Mi from High Tech High International. Chenoa and Brian will share the story of their interdisciplinary project, Debunked: Resisting the Power of Pseudoscience, which asked juniors to critically analyze how scientific misconceptions have perpetuated systems of oppression in U.S. history. Students explored topics like racism, sexism, colonialism, and environmental degradation, connecting them to their own lived experiences and communities. Join us to dive into design and instructional practices that will inspire deeper learning.
At GSE, we believe every event is an opportunity to build connections and foster learning. Meet the team working to make that happen for you.
