Kim began her journey with the HTH community in 2011 as a founding staff member of High Tech Elementary Chula Vista. In 2012, she began facilitating on and off-site professional learning. In 2015, she co-facilitated the Designing for Deeper Learning course through the High Tech High Graduate School and began consulting for the University of San Diego’s Institute for Entrepreneurship in Education, where she engaged leaders and teachers in professional learning and collaborated with districts to create systematic change. Currently, she works for New Tech Network; coaching leaders and teachers in public schools and designing resources for schools within the network. Kim holds her a B.A. in Liberal Studies: Sociology, from the University of California, Riverside and an M.Ed and Multiple Subject Credential from the University of California – San Diego.
