A native San Diegan and experienced secondary educator, Dr. Tim Warren has served as a school social worker, counselor, principal and school head at public schools in San Diego County and Washington state and international schools in Colombia, Morocco, China, and Bolivia. Currently he is director of special education for a district in southwestern Washington and also provides consultation for the Association for the Advancement of International Education. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University.
Throughout his broad career in social work, mental health, and educational leadership, Dr. Warren has remained committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse youth. His professional passion is developing and supporting educators as they strive to provide equitable, student-centered, and meaningful learning opportunities that lead to growth and success for all students.
