Dr. Chagala graduated from UCLA with a degree in International Relations and received his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. He serves as the Founding Principal of Vista Innovation & Design Academy and has been with the Vista Unified School District for 15 years. In 2013, Dr. Chagala was awarded as “Vista Unified School District Administrator of the Year.” Dr. Chagala is part of the HTH GSE practitioner faculty and is in his second year of teaching the HTH 230: Leading Innovative Schools course.
