The High Tech High Graduate School of Education (GSE) prepares teachers, educational leaders, and school founders committed to transforming schools with a focus on justice, deeper learning, and innovation. Embedded within 16 High Tech High K-12 schools, the GSE provides a dynamic environment for hands-on learning, seamlessly blending theory with practice.

Regional Accreditation

The High Tech High Graduate School of Education is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), 1001 Marina Village Parkway Suite 402, Alameda, CA 94501, (510) 748-9001. WSCUC is an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education.

State Approval

High Tech High Graduate School of Education is approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) to offer programs leading to the California Preliminary Administrative Services Credential, Preliminary Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, and Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential in specific core areas. These state-approved educator preparation programs prepare candidates to meet the requirements for recommendation for California credentials authorizing service in California public schools, including charter schools, subject to applicable state requirements. The Commission’s offices are located at 651 Bannon Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.
