Manuel Paul Lopez

Manuel Paul Lopez teaches 10th grade humanities at High Tech High. He holds degrees from University of California, San Diego and San Francisco State University. His work has been published in Bilingual Review/La Revista Bilingue, ZYZZYVA, Hanging Loose, Rattle, Puerto del Sol, among others. His first book, Death of a Mexican and other Poems, was published by Bear Star Press in 2006 and was awarded the Dorothy Brunsman Poetry Prize. His new collection entitled 1984 is forthcoming.
