Learning to Talk About Race: One School's Journey
It is well documented that a student’s race impacts their academic achievement. However, schools do not prioritize talking about race and many school leaders struggle with beginning or sustaining these conversations in a meaningful way. Through my action research cycles, I identified key structures to help support conversations on race as well as discovered important lessons for any school leader looking to do this work.
