PBL Design Camp
Develop as a PBL Project Designer for Students
PBL Design Camp introduces educators to structures necessary to design transformational learning experiences for students. Through modeled facilitation by PBL practitioners, each of the six sessions provides participants opportunities to engage with and internalize pedagogical practices for deeper learning. This adult learning experience immerses participants in the High Tech High environment to investigate PBL’s essential components for equity-focused and culturally responsive project design. In this multi-day workshop, first learn SEL strategies that drive the design process and build empathy for ourselves, our students, and our communities. With HTH teachers and students by your side, participants will engage in collective empathy building necessary for cycles of critique to create a project outline. Through this project-based learning workshop experience participants will exercise their personal reflection muscle to accelerate growth and understanding as a Project-Based Learning facilitator. Whether you are looking to enhance your PBL lesson plans or discover opportunities to see young people as partners in this work, let our team support you in gathering new resources for your teaching toolbox.
