Allyson Fritz is a social worker who served as the Attendance & Reengagement Coordinator at Northeast Washington Educational Service District 101 from April 2022 to June 2025, where she supported the region’s school districts in developing systems for reducing chronic absenteeism. She led the Boosting Attendance & Reengagement Network of 10 schools, which uses improvement science practices to test change ideas for reducing chronic absenteeism. Allyson earned her master’s in social work from University of California, Berkeley. She previously spent five years advancing girls’ education in West Africa with the nonprofit organization OASIS, with a particular focus on expanding Safe Spaces programming in Niger and Nigeria.
