April Major teaches 6th grade at Vista La Mesa Elementary School in Lemon Grove, California. She has taught for 15 years, including two years in Japan. April holds a B.A. in Sociology from UC San Diego and an M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership from the HTH Graduate School of Education, where her action research focused on the use of differentiation strategies to enhance students’ mathematical problem-solving.
