Claire King

Claire King is an educator and youth advocate who, beginning her career in 1983 in a classroom in the South Bronx, has been a teacher and administrator with students in grades K-16 in five states before coming full circle as a tenure-track assistant professor at the City University of New York’s newest higher education institution. She teaches in the First Year Experience and coaches faculty in pedagogies of engagement.
