Ideation School plans to open its doors as a fully paid private school in 2020 in Hawthorne, California. The school has been intentionally designed as a middle school for socio-economically disadvantaged students in the surrounding neighborhoods who have struggled with a traditional approach to education. Ideation School will provide a personalized approach to learning through foundational literacy, numeracy & language acquisition skill-building, and interdisciplinary studio learning. The school has at its core the design principles of Agency, Real-World Impact, Craftsmanship and Human-Centered Design.
