Michael Chin graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Secondary Science Education. He started his journey at High Tech High by supporting twelfth-grade students as an academic coach before pursuing his teaching credential and Masters in Education through the residency program at the High Tech High Graduate School of Education. Since 2020, he has served as a tenth grade Chemistry teacher at High Tech High. Outside of the classroom, he is an avid K-pop fan, a board game fanatic, a video game enthusiast, and has a big sweet tooth. He also loves spending time tanning at the beach.
