Rossa Doño-Ramírez

Improvement Coach
“Since I was introduced to it, I’ve witnessed firsthand the positive outcomes of Continuous Improvement, and it motivates me every day to work with passionate individuals who are dedicated to creating sustainable educational systems designed to assist those who need the most guidance. By continuously learning and adapting, we aim to identify and implement changes that will better support students furthest from opportunity.”

Rossa joined High Tech High Graduate School of Education in August of 2021 as an Improvement Coach at CARPE helping to improve the 4-year college enrollment rate. Over time she worked with the IExD Team, helping to facilitate Continuous Improvement 101’s and supporting Fellowship with their journey’s on CI. She has also been a coach for graduate students and has enjoyed helping them create change ideas to support their improvement efforts in their respective educational fields. She continues to work across multiple projects at the GSE and is more than happy to tell you all about how much she loves her job.

Rossa attended San Jose State University, and Loyola Marymount University, where she earned her M.A in Counseling and worked at Environmental Charter High School as an Academic Counselor for over 6 years before coming over to the GSE. She played a part in ensuring over 95% of seniors completed their financial aid applications, submitted at least one college application, and received the financial aid they were entitled to. As a leader for her school site, Rossa was able to share resources and information from her experience with the network and eventually joined this amazing team.
