Research Center

The Center for Research on Equity and Innovation brings together practitioners, researchers and youth to address complex problems of practice in K-12 education and create more equitable, engaging learning environments for all students. We use improvement science, design thinking and appreciative inquiry to support networks of educators in disrupting predictable patterns of success and failure, redesigning the systems/practices that perpetuate them, and learning from each other. Whether you join one of our networked improvement communities, attend one of our institutes, or simply use our tools, our goal is to support schools in building a culture of continuous improvement, while making measurable progress on the issues you care about most.
Learn with CREI
During our highly interactive two day institute offered January 11th and 12th, participants will explore tools for embedding improvement work into existing professional development structures and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
We’ve developed a range of protocols to guide collaborative improvement work, and captured sets of “high leverage” change ideas that have led to improvement. Why start from scratch when you can start here?
