Ingrid Puche is an elementary educator and project-based learning specialist who has been with Avenues The World School since 2012, its founding year. She has worked across K–5 as a classroom teacher and project designer, supporting students, teachers, and curriculum development. Her work centers on designing inquiry pathways that engage students in asking meaningful questions and connect learning to authentic, real-world contributions. Her work centers on understanding students’ metacognitive processes and intentionally scaffolding collaboration, self-regulation, and self-management in age-appropriate ways. In addition to her work in elementary education, she has taught graduate-level courses in Brazil and works as a consultant to support curriculum and project-based learning implementation in bilingual contexts.
