Dan Thoene teaches 8th grade mathematics at High Tech Middle. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a major in Communications and a minor in Mathematics, and worked as a sportscaster for 11 years prior to teaching. He earned a multiple subject credential and single subject credential in mathematics at San Diego State University. He is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in School Leadership at the HTH Graduate School of Education.
