How do you know where meaningful change is happening—and why?

In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to visualize and analyze variation in your data to identify bright spots, support those who need it most, and accelerate learning across your classroom, school, district, or network.

Together, we’ll use an equity-centered data protocol to dig into real data, and leave with actionable next steps. Bonus: You’ll get hands-on experience with a custom control chart generator you can use with your own data. This will be the most fun you’ve had at a data workshop. Promise.

What You’ll Learn & Do

  • Visualize data in clear, powerful ways to uncover meaningful patterns and learn from variation.
  • Distinguish between data for improvement and data for accountability.
  • Hear real-world examples of how districts and networks use variation data to identify bright spots, support collective learning, and spread effective practices.
  • Build a culture of improvement where we share our data to accelerate our shared learning
  • Practice using a custom control chart generator with your own data that you can share with others in your context.

Who should attend:

Designed for those who lead or support improvement efforts—data specialists, facilitators, coaches, and leaders in schools, districts, CMOs, and networks.

Teams are encouraged to attend together, but individuals are welcome too.

CEUs are available upon request.

Note: This workshop builds on a basic understanding of continuous improvement. We recommend first taking our FREE Foundations of CI workshop or CI 101 course if you’re just getting started.
